Before you write
Is a stay at Lunda Life a hotel booking?
No. You rent a condo, not a hotel room. A booking exists only when we confirm the dates, the condo, the nightly rate, and the occupancy in writing on WhatsApp or email.
Are the prices on this site the amount I pay?
The figures are starting nightly rates in Mexican pesos (MXN), not US dollars. They change with season and availability. Taxes are not included. You pay the amount we confirm in writing.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is 3:00 PM. Check-out is 12:00 noon.
Can you arrange the airport transfer and the outings with the stay?
Yes. We arrange the condo, the airport transfer, and the days out before you arrive. Message us on WhatsApp with your dates and how many are traveling.
How do I know the condo is actually reserved?
Nothing on this website is an offer you accept by clicking. We confirm in writing. Until that message, dates are not held.
The six condos
Choosing a condo
If we are two or three, do we have to take a six-person condo?
No. Sunrise and Sunset hold four people. Tide and Coral hold six. Turtle and Beach hold eight. Message us with how many are traveling and we suggest the condo.
Do the six condos share the pool?
Yes. The pool is in the building courtyard, with loungers, and it is shared. None of the condos has a private pool.
Does picking dates on this calendar book the condo?
No. It opens a WhatsApp request. A booking exists only when we confirm dates, condo, rate, and occupancy in writing.

Does Sunrise have stairs to the door?
Sunrise is on the ground floor, with a patio. If you prefer not to climb stairs inside the building, this is the condo to ask for first.
Is the from-price per person or for the condo?
It is a starting nightly rate for the whole condo, in Mexican pesos, not per person. Taxes are not included.
Can four adults stay in Sunrise?
Yes. Maximum occupancy is four people, regardless of age — everyone counts toward that number.
If Sunrise is taken, is there another four-person condo?
Sunset also holds four people (84 m²). Message us with your dates and we say which of the two is free.

Is Sunset the same size as Sunrise?
No. Sunset is 84 m²; Sunrise is 78 m². Both hold four people and both have kitchen, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and a terrace.
Is the from-price per person?
No. It is a starting nightly rate for the condo, in Mexican pesos. Taxes are not included.
If we might be four, should we look at Tide instead?
Four people fit in Sunset. Tide holds six and is larger. Message us with your sleeping arrangements and we suggest one condo.
Does Sunset have its own pool?
No. Guests use the shared courtyard pool, with loungers.

Does the occupancy of six include children?
Yes. Six people is the maximum for the condo, counting everyone who stays the night.
Is Tide the condo with the kitchen island?
No. The kitchen with an island is Coral. Tide has an open living-dining area, a kitchen, and a terrace.
If we are five, is Tide or Coral the better fit?
Both hold six. Tide is 112 m²; Coral is 128 m² with a covered terrace. Message us with how you want the table laid out and we suggest one.
Is the from-price the final bill?
It is a starting nightly rate in Mexican pesos. Taxes are not included. You pay what we confirm in writing.

Does Coral have a covered terrace?
Yes. Coral has a kitchen with an island, a dining room, and a covered terrace.
Is Coral larger than Tide?
Yes. Coral is 128 m²; Tide is 112 m². Both hold six people.
Can six people use the kitchen island as the only table?
There is a dining room as well as the island. If you need the table laid out a certain way, message us and we describe it from the photographs.
Is tax included in the from-price?
No. Nightly rates are in Mexican pesos and tax is not included.

Is the study a fourth bedroom?
Turtle has a study. Occupancy is eight people. If you need that room to sleep as a closed bedroom, write and we say how it is used.
Turtle or Beach for eight people?
Both hold eight. Turtle is 156 m²; Beach is 210 m² on the upper level, with a wide terrace. Beach starts at a higher nightly rate.
Does Turtle have a private pool?
No. The pool is in the building courtyard and is shared.
Is the from-price per person?
No. It is a starting nightly rate for the condo. Taxes are not included.

No. Beach is on the upper level of the building, with a wide terrace. Expect stairs.
Is this the largest condo?
Yes. Beach is 210 m² and holds eight people. Turtle also holds eight, at 156 m².

Are these hotel photographs?
No. They are photographs of the six condos and the building. You rent a home: kitchen, bedrooms, terrace. The pool is in the courtyard.
Is there a virtual tour on this page?

Can I use these photographs in another listing?
No. Photographs and text on lunda.life are for informing guests. Do not copy them for other listings without our written consent.

How do we get to the bays?
We send directions when you book. The airport is about twenty-five minutes by car.
Where in Huatulco is Lunda Life?
In Bahía Tangolunda. The address is Carretera Federal 200 km 239, Bahías de Huatulco, Oaxaca 70989.
Do we need a car?
The airport is about twenty-five minutes by car. We can arrange a transfer with the stay. For the bays and the highlands, a car or a driver is the usual way to move.
Is Lunda Life inside the national park?
The park covers a large part of the Huatulco coastline. The condos are in Bahía Tangolunda.

Do you publish tour prices and hours on this page?

Do you operate the boats and guides yourselves?
We arrange the outing together with a stay. The operator for that day is the one we confirm in writing.
Can I book a day out without renting a condo?

Are the outings guaranteed in the rainy months?
Sea and river days depend on the weather that morning. We confirm or we move the plan, in writing.

Do you pick us up at the condos?

Payment, deposit, and cancellation are those we confirm in writing for your dates. We do not publish a single cancellation table on this site.
Is a stay a hotel contract?
No. A stay is a vacation rental of a condo, not a hotel booking.

Do you run ads or analytics pixels on this site?
These pages use Google Analytics to measure visits. We do not run advertising pixels. We also collect what you send us in order to answer your enquiry about a stay.
Will you sell my WhatsApp number?
No. We do not sell your data. We use the thread to propose a condo, confirm a stay, and arrange any transfer or outing you ask for.
How do I ask you to delete my details?
